Dental Implants
An investment in your future

By | Implants

If you’re considering dental implants, you may also have concerns about how much treatment is going to cost. However, at Carbasse Implant & Dental Centre we want to stress that implants should be seen as an investment in your overall oral health and wellbeing and are likely to be one of the best decisions you can make.

We know that dental implants are the number one solution to missing teeth. They are a long-term solution and once they have settled into your jawbone – and of course along with excellent oral hygiene routines – they can last a lifetime.

Those who wear dentures can identify with the discomfort they create when they become loose, interfering with the foods you eat, affecting how you speak and worst of all, having an impact on your self-confidence. Dental implants can be used to stabilise your dentures and do away with these unnecessary problems.

Tooth loss also causes the bone in your jaw to recede. Any gaps left for long periods can cause your face to sag without the supporting structures behind it and can make you look older before your time.

If you have one or more missing teeth our highly experienced implant dentist, Marc Carbasse, can advise on the implant solution that’s right for you. And better still, to take away any concerns about the cost of implant treatment, we offer an interest-free, low-cost payment plan to all our implant patients. You can spread the cost of your treatment over an agreed term with easy-to-manage monthly Direct Debit payments – a great and affordable alternative to one-off payments.

Ask us about our interest-free, low-cost payment plan and arrange an implant consultation by calling 01227 273593.

Choose dental implants: choose confidence

David hated wearing his dentures so much he couldn’t take it any more. That was when he went on the hunt for an alternative, more comfortable solution. When he came to us at Carbasse Implant and Dental Centre in Whitstable, we recommended implant-retained crowns. “The biggest difference is that they feel like my own teeth now. I don’t feel that I have to smile with my hand over my mouth.

Richard grew up in the 50s and 60s and suffered like many of his peers with poorly maintained teeth. He knew it was only a matter of time before he would need to seek dental treatment, and he wasn’t looking forward to it. “It’s really, really easy. I managed to fall asleep twice whilst the treatment was being carried out! And now I can’t actually tell which teeth are implants!”

Imelda, whose denture caused her so much tongue pain that it affected what she ate and how she felt every day, decided she had to do something about it. She came in to see us and we recommended a fixed bridge solution. “It’s like having your own natural teeth back – a different world altogether. The time was taken to explain everything in detail and throughout I felt secure and looked after. I would recommend it to anybody. It’s a life-changing experience!

As our patient testimonials attest, implant-retained teeth look, feel and function like natural teeth. Once fixed in place, the bridge is stable and allows you to eat, speak and smile with confidence again. For those who have soldiered on for years with dental pain, uncomfortable dentures or teeth that embarrass them, it can be a life-transforming experience.

Implants can be used to replace just a single tooth, a few teeth or even a whole arch where all the teeth are missing or need to be extracted. For a full arch, it’s not necessary to replace every tooth with dental implants; instead as few as four dental implants can be placed to support a series of adjacent fixed bridges.

In calm and professional hands

Although having dental implants involves some surgery, it is not painful, especially when you’re in the care of a skilled implant dentist like our practice principal, Marc Carbasse, who will put you completely at ease and can use sedation if required.

Jo:Marc was very understanding, and not pushy which is important. When you’re making a decision like this you need to take your time.”

Lin:I found Marc to be very kind, very gentle and very skilful. You need to see a dentist who is highly trained and completely up-to-date. And it really helps if it’s also a dentist who you can like and trust.

Happily ever after

Once your new implant-retained dentures are in place, we don’t stop looking after you here at Carbasse Implant and Dental Centre. All our dental implant patients qualify for our 5-year guarantee by signing up to our Implant Maintenance Plan. This involves attending regular implant maintenance checks and cleaning using our new EMS AIRFLOW system, which gently and comfortably cleans implants with fantastic results.

You can also spread your payments for your implant treatment via our Flexible Payment Plans, so you don’t have to pay upfront but in manageable monthly payments.

Contrary to popular belief, dental implants are a comfortable, restorative treatment which can banish dental pain and unsightly teeth for good. Our many positive patient testimonials are proof of that.

Perhaps it’s time to find out for yourself…

Dental Implants at the heart of our practice

By | Implants

The practice started offering implant treatment in 2001 and since then we  have placed over 3500 implants and achieved a fantastic success rate of over 99%. I attribute this success to the extensive training we have received and the quality of the implant systems we use. As a practice, we want to provide our patients with the safest, most reliable and predictable outcomes for their treatment and I believe many patients with either a single gap or a full mouth to rehabilitate would benefit from dental implants.

Dental implants lie at the heart of what we do (the clue is in our name!) and many of our patients have already discovered that implants give an excellent result that looks and feels just like natural teeth.

Recent studies have found that replacing missing teeth with dental impants can have a very positive impact on our quality of life, as people feel more confident to talk, smile and laugh if they have no missing teeth and additionally they can eat with confidence, which has many health benefits.

Many people are concerned that dental implants could be an expensive treatment option and there is no doubt that they can initially be more expensive than a conventional bridge or denture. However, over a patients lifetime, they can prove to be a highly cost effective treatment choice.

If you’re interested in understanding how dental implants could benefit you, simply book a consultation with Marc. The usual cost of £125 is reduced to £75 during April and May 2019. Either call us on 01227 273593, or visit
